However, once you add in the cost for a sharper display and the RAM needed to future-proof your purchase, the E8410 looks like less of a bargain.

Ooooh a new MacBook I was looking into getting the black MacBook at the end of the year. I may wait until this new one is released.

My laptop is currently a Dell 6400 - 2gb Ram, Dual Core 1.73ghz (3.46ghz), 120gb HDD, Internal wi-fi and internal bluetooth. I am more than happy with it, but it is ever so slightly heavy.

Ha, nah I have never used a Mac before so I am interested in giving one a try. The Dell is more of a media centre, as it has Media Direct built in (you just press a button on it and it loads up a media player rather than loading up windows to just watch a dvd), that's why it is a bit bulky.

hmm.. Thinnovation right lol

I personally have never used any Macbooks as they aren't much popular in India and hardly anyone buys it here, so can't comment much on it.

kk.. Just saw it here http://www.apple.com/macbookair/ , looks good, really thin.

Just wondering, do people in your country prefer Macbooks over PC's ??

Ooooh a new MacBook I was looking into getting the black MacBook at the end of the year. I may wait until this new one is released.

My laptop is currently a Dell 6400 - 2gb Ram, Dual Core 1.73ghz (3.46ghz), 120gb HDD, Internal wi-fi and internal bluetooth. I am more than happy with it, but it is ever so slightly heavy.
