Icon7 Lock and Unlock any folder without software

Lock and unlock any folder without using software. The following steps gives the procedure to be followed:

1) Let the name of the folder be asdf and its location be in D:\asdf.

2) Next in the same drive next to folder create a new notepad file with exact statement as below:
ren asdf asdf.{21EC2020-3AEA-1069-A2DD-08002B30309D}

3) Now save this file as Loc.bat

4) Create another new notepad file and type:
ren asdf.{21EC2020-3AEA-1069-A2DD-08002B30309D} asdf

5) Save this as Key.bat

6) On double clicking Loc.bat file the folder named asdf will be changed to control panel and you cannot see the contents of the folder. To unlock that and see the contents, you should double click on Key.bat file and now you can view the contents of the folder.

7) For safety keep Key.bat in different location and when you want to unlock the folder copy and paste in the present location.

However you can directly hide the folder, so that no one can see the folder, either in command prompt or in folder options.

I think folder encryption method is much batter then that. As long as you are getting full encryption. I am using windows 7 professional version and its encryption is awesome.
