Processor alone doesn't matter much. For a gaming PC: RAM and graphics should be top class. Get a high end processor and motherboard, minimum 2 GB RAM, minimum 256 MB graphics, minimum 512 GB HDD, a cool LCD monitor, surround sound speakers, etc etc. There's no limit to the hardware btw, it all depends on your budget.
