I recently picked up the LG vue and while its a nice phone i've got some concerns already and maybe someone here has the phone and can either shed some light on these or remedy the solution.

Carrier: AT&T

Problem 1: Battery Life, This thing must be a battery hog, i lasts about 8 hours of standby for some reason, mix some text messaging and talk time on that and its a real failure on battery life then for some reason

Problem 2: Constantly searching for service. If i sit and watch the phone, it must go in and out of service 5-6 times every 10 minutes no matter where im at. I could be sitting in one spot with full service for 1 minute, then the wind blows and its no service. I think if this issue gets solved, it may help with problem 1.

Problem 3: I've currently got the phone set to T9 text entry option. But at random times when replying to text messages it will switch back to ABC mode for no reason what so ever.

Problem 4: Any picture messages i get, I always get Message Failed, Error 6 codes returned and i can not download any picture (no matter what phone or network sent from)

And i think those are my main issues right now that I can't figure out for the life of me.

I think maybe he means lg viewety? That's the only one close that I know of by LG

well.. the phone does look good to me, but the problems you mentioned aren't small. I'll give it a 2 on 5.

I have the Lg vue and havent had any of those problems

i have has the lg vue since august of 2008 and i work in an att store. i have never had any problems with it nor has it had returns from defetct problems. its one of our highest rated phones despite that its been out on the market for over a year now. infact i am currently available for an upgrade but have decided not to use it as of now because i love my phone. its even been referred to as the downgrade to the iphone. same basic functions without the apps the bugs or the $35 charge for useage. if your having problems with your battery life than it might be because you have you bluetooth left on which the manual says not to do unless your using it) or you have a faulty battery.. as for the rest i travel and havent had problems with reception ever and i bluetooth ad send multimedia constantly without problems..
