Icon8 No Ultimate Alliance 2 for PC?

I wonder why did this happen. I loved the first part, enjoyed it like anything. Finished it twice in hard mode lol. I was looking forward to UA2 and was dying for it after I saw its trailor over at yt but shockingly its not available for the PC.

The first part was such a hit and in fact its one of my favorite RPG's till date. Strange thing is that IT IS available for DS, PS2, PS3, Wii, xBox 360 but just NOT PC, what the hell..

Marvel/Activision really let me down this time.

I am with you on this one. Ultimate Alliance is one of my favorite games too. I did search about this as to why they didn't release it for PC, but not much has been talked about this.

The rumors say that they did it to prevent piracy, as they loose huge bucks due to piracy of PC games. Piracy of PC version of games is much much higher than that of the consoles. But this reason hasn't been confirmed as there is no official word from the company yet. And this reason doesn't sound practical to me anyway, there's no way PC can be ignored. If the number of PC game pirates are high, then the number of genuine PC game buyers are high too.

Over this, I am wondering what if all game makers start following this track.

I think the reason what webwizzy mentioned is possible. Piracy has become a HUGE HUGE problem for the software world.

Its better not making a few bucks by not delivering PC version of the game than loosing HUGE bucks through piracy. I am with them on this one. I think this would help atleast 2% of PC game pirates to realize the situation. They forget the game developers are human beings too, sadly.
