Finished this game last month. We all know how much hype this game created long back before it was released. The hype was totally worth it IMO.

Extreme violence and blood is one of its main characteristics, so play it if you can handle it all. The story goes like YOU play as Alex Mercer who has lost all his memory but in return has got limitless powers. The powers are truly unimaginable and awesome.

The game suffers from a bug where the volume is quite less, but thats it. Can adjust if headphone is used.

The graphics are superb. You do need to have good VRAM to play the game smooth. My Dell Studio 15 handles it quite well. I really like how each key from F1 to F12 performs a unique power. The storyline, the cutscenes all bring the game to life. Though the game can be repetitive at times.

The freeplay mode is great too, where you master Alex's abilities and recently acquired powers.

A somewhat similar game released at the same time called Infamous but unfortunately it released just for the PS3 console.

I give a 4.5 on 5 rating to Prototype.

I have played this game on friend's PC. Is seriously crazy with those godly powers.

Damn I am yet to play this game. As wizzy mentioned, this game alongwith Infamous created a lot of buzz. Sadly Infamous isn't available for PC, it looks fantastic.
