its hard to understand coz the way you have posted the error.

anyways.. Error 12 means that MySQL cannot allocate more memory from the server. Usually this requires a restart of the server or manually killing unused processes on the server. So, contact your host.

btw.. if this occured after a mod install, then try disabling/uninstalling the most recent one you installed after which this error started appearing.

what about styles will they do this?

i don't think styles could cause this.

But if this occured right after installing a style, then there's no harm on uninstalling and seeing the effect.

Well the only thing i recently installed is the ads page i got this error now

Database error in vBulletin : mysql_connect() Can't connect to local MySQL server

Your MySQL server is/was not running at that moment or there was an error with the server. Its a temporary problem and usually happens on shared hosting environment.
