Have seen and tested over 1000 modifications to vBulletin till date. But there are definitely some that I'd like to keep always. I find these to be the best and most useful for any vB owner.

AME - Automatic Media Embedder is excellent. I use that on all my forums.
VBSEO (http://vbseo.com) - I have brought this for all my forums as it is a big step towards excellent forum SEO.

Hi, can you tell me where i can find the above?, there is one from you guys at vb.org but it seems its for 3.6.x i'm using 3.7.3 PL1 and there is no mention of flags which i particularly find interesting!

Hi Simon,

That mini mod will work for all versions of vB. As you can see, its just a setting and a minor optional template edit.

And yes.. that flag thingy isn't released at vb.org. You'll just find it here in use

if you look at VBA Express and click a thread you will see that the users can set flags for themselves, i think thats a nice touch, i would like flags shown for my users in the post where it currently gives their username and location, posts etc.

I think that if that was available more people are likely to select a location!

Hey WW, thanks for that, i would like the animated flags though as they are quite cool!, one other thing in which template do i find the Online/Offline switch for the gif? i would like to add some text so that it physically tells a user when a user is online as well as the gif.

Not sure what you mean by online/offline switch ! I think you mean the online/offline gif image that displays beside the username, like this one

You can find this in postbit/postbit_legacy template.

Thank you!, as for animated flags i am busy downloading flags that can be used generally so will probably integrate them with the mod you pointed out...once again thanks!
