 Using nntp gateway to read/post to news groups?
Hi, i have uploaded a mod to my forum that reads from specified newsgroups, this works fine, but i can't get any of the posts that are answered to post back to the newsgroup, there was a routine that you run once to get the id of the last post, i did this and it worked fine except there was an error message "Rejected, ill formed message" anyone know how to cure this, or do you have read/post newsgroups on your forum and have overcome it?

Well.. I had never used that mod and I don't have read/post newsgroups here. Also its actually made for 3.5 so no guarantee if it would work fine for 3.7 as well Did you try asking it in the official mod thread though ?

Yes i posted in the official thread but the author hasn't posted there in a very very long time!, i've tried searching the net for an answer but its all dutch to me!, i was hoping there was someone who has come across it here, or had the knowledge to fix it! Thanks for the reply 'Wizzy! |
