I want to know if it worth to submit a site to Alexa or to wait till Alexa find the site and index it.

It won't harm in any way submitting a site to Alexa or any other directory or search engine. But don't submit it multiple times every now and then expecting it to get indexed faster, your site then may be considered spam and banned off the SE.

Search engines are really smart now, they are pretty fast in indexing good content. So if you have a site that focuses on unique and original content with good SEO, it should not be a problem for you at all.

Alexa ranking is highly variable. But it is still considered a starting point for traffic to sites of reflection. You can count on him for 50%.

there is no bad factor of adding your site to alexa
