For just link building, you may try contacting webmasters of various sites in your niche to exchange links with you. You may try submitting sites to directories. And most importantly, generate some unique good content, if people like them, they usually link them on their site.

As Said by webwizzy  But I feel submitting sites to directories is nothing but a waste of time. You get near to 0% traffic out of that. Its just for those who care a lot about PR, and I am not one of them.  |

As Said by christ Even I get a couple of link exchange requests per month via the Contact Us form at this site. Another method would be to post your requirement at various market place section at sites like sitepoint, digitalpoint etc.

well according to me as i have learned so far from my experience, article marketing, blog commenting, forum posting, directory submission are some of methods of link building. But how to put link in forums/blogs which have page rank of more than 4? what are the methods of putting links in these sites. plz help ! ___________________ Nokia 5800 Applications |

As Said by webwizzy  But as far i know Google does not like links that are purchased and google rank them in lower search engine results. may be i might be wrong just came in my mind so want to clarify.... Apart from buying links and exchanging with the webmaster what are else methods for placing link in higher PR sites? i don't want to spend any money on Link building. As Said by christ  Also, if you still care enough, you can nofollow the links so that the link won't be counted for the particular site's PR. Basically, Google has a problem with false means of increasing PR, not with making money from your site. As Said by christ No high PR website would place your link for free lol. Forget high, why do you even think that a 0 PR site would place your link for nothing? You'll HAVE TO give something in return, its simple business. Otherwise you can try good PR directories, which IMO is useless.

For starters submitting the website for directories, then move on to forums and blog commenting. Doing these will drive you some traffic as well.

You should try building links yourself. It is time consuming but it is not that difficult. There are many companies. But sometimes a freelancer will make better work. Link Building is a strategy/technique to get relevant links to your website from good ranking websites in your niche.It also helps to increase website Page Rank.I would add link building techniques like forum postings,blog commenting, directory submissions, social bookmarkings and blog posting.All are very useful to all the link building.

There is nothing special in blog or website. Generally blogs are focusing on contents. Search engine like Google prefer contents. So blogs have great SEO advantage. Even website with unique contents can get same benefit as blog.
