 How to find SEO client?

Get your own domain first. I remember when I first started, people would always want to see previous work, linking to a free domain with some junk design just doesn't cut it. If you want to be a professional you have to appear professional in all aspects. Now, I'm barely able to keep up with all the SEO work and clients |

Pageoneresults advice is really possible. but its a long learning curve and demonstrate your knowledge here to get the client to this forum instead of directly to the customer and learn from the experience.

If you are an seo then you may approach for your own website and promote it very strongly.I am sure if you have ability then cliant will come to you through this site.I hope if you are good seo then you will sure get business from this site. As Said by David08

You should make your site very popular so more people will visit the site and may be anyone would opt any service.This all can do if you promote your site in good techniques like social media,press release,classified etc..

market yourself in freelance forum sites, you can also look for clients in different forum marketplace who's lookin for SEO people..you can also try odesk

I recommend you to create a website and rank for the keywords like SEO company, SEO services and etc then automatically clients will come in search for you.

I think you need to show page views of a landing page, with your ad in it to as many people as possible, I think in this , TEs can be very effective.
