 Importance of the IP ?
Do you care about this matter ? How much importance would you say the IP of a site has ? I think it is quite important, especially if we are talking about link building part for a regional website. The IP of the site where you build your links should be in UK if you target UK results. Your website should be also hosted on an UK server in order to be more relevant for UK results pages. When developing your strategy how close do you watch these details ?  |

IP may be significant for a regional website. But again, google is smart enough to make out that for you. You even have an option in Google Webmaster Tools to geographically target your domain/website to a location. And btw, TLD's like co.uk are already targetted to UK. Similarly, .in is already targetted to India by Google. Its the big G!

In SEO, IP is a great value. Too many backlinks from the same IP, and too many sites link to each other between the photos from the same IP is bad for SEO. May result in a penalty search engine and also deindex or sandbox to such sites. Sites in different class C IP is the oldest building links and pushing.

I agree with you that IP address is very important for SEO. Mostly moderation banned our ip address when we do most forum posting, blog commenting.

IP address is not much important in SEO(search engine optimization), But different c class IP address is used to getting back links to increase your page rank in the search engine.
