 Which is important in SEO?SERP or PR?
Hello Friends As we all are familiar with SEO, In this,we all should be aware from two different words first is "PR" and second is "SERP".I would like to know which is the main factor in terms of SEO?  |

I believe for getting local traffic to your site and for product sell, SERP is more important as compared to PR. |

I think page ranking is the most important of SEO because it is the way to rank your website and discover your business or sales through the internet.

The factor of the highest importance - Good original content fresh and relevant, so it's a keyword research and building links, and the last to be some sort of comments, such as article marketing, social bookmarking and blog commenting. Link to high PR sites will increase SERP, both are important for SEO.

The significance of either is dependent on which view point you are coming from. For instance, if you are selling links on your website, then PR is more significant than SERP. However, if you are earning through PPV (pay per view) and PPC (pay per click) schemes, having a high PR would not help, but having a prominent position or ranking on SERP to get a good flow of traffic to your site is very vital to your success. Though, in SEO, or being an SEO professional, for me, both are factors.

In my opinion SERP is important in the sense of keyword rank but if u want to purchase or sell link then PR is important. so, i can say that both are important in SEO.

Most of the people know that there is no relation between SERPs and PR of the website because there are many website which has 0 PR and ranking at the top of the search results and there are many websites which has PR 9 and not ranking any where on the search engine. I am agree that PR is very important factor of the SEO but not more than SERPs. When you website appear into the SERPs then your website can generate some business for your website whether it has the PR or not. So i think search engine ranking is more important than Page Rank.

Well, I know both the things. As my knowledge and experience both are needed. Without PR you can't get traffic for your site.

I think it is meaningless comparison. SERP of course is more important because it leads visitors to your site and they can be converted to customers. PR by itself doesn`t matter. PR infuences SERP sure but not always.

| SEO is process to improve the ranking and Page rank of your website. Rankin and PR both are different things. PR is a grading system of Google, which shows the popularity of your website in Search engines. It has no relation with ranking. Some time you see, some websites have less PR but their rank in high and some websites have high PR but their ranking is not good. PR of other websites or we can say backlinks on high PR websites help toimprove your ranking. |
