I feel that design should come first. You can always tweak the design (to help with SEO) after it is laid out.

I Belive that both shoul have the same value.

Site without good design wont keep the members in for long and site without seo wont get any members to see the site.

Combonation of both is the best , nice optimazed site.

You should make your site very popular so more people will visit the site and may be anyone would opt any service.This all can do if you promote your site in good techniques like social media,press release,classified etc..

The website should be structured accordingly to carry out SEO campaign. The website should be simply created in a SEO friendly method. So I say SEO should come in first to educate the web designer the way to construct a website in a SEO friendly manner.

SEO and Web design are the two different thing but SEO is a lot depend on the web design,if web design is search engine friendly then it becomes a lot more easier for the SEO professionals to optimise the website.

As per my opinion both the things are very important. Because First of all website design is important and after designing the website its marketing is very important for good business. So after designing SEO is must. It is difficult to say that which one is more important.

Both are important because without better design and better Seo you can never fine more traffic on your site. If your site has good design, it is better for your site.
