I love google analytics I only found out about it 7 months agao, but it has helped me fix numerous problems that have occured in that time. The sitemap submission is an excellent feature also.

Definitely! I couldn't run the forums with out it now. Some how Google had knocked one of my sites clean out of the search engine and it showed me all the problems with the site. It ended up that one of my admins had overwritten my robots .txt with theirs and blocked the site Without Google Analytics, I would of never known.

Also add webmaster tool , Both are beneficial and will give you an idea what is going on with your site
