i have a forum. If my hosting plan expires, will my site shutdown? what will i see?

If you let your hosting expire (despite of several notifications from the hosting company), you'll see Site Suspended message when visitors visit your site.

where could i find those notifications?

i went to www.mysite.com/cpanel and there are no notifications. I also checked my email, no notifications.
Maybe i availed the 2year plan and not the 1 year plan from hostgator. where could i find that information? hihi

Those are usually email notifications only. You might have missed them or you never received them.

It does not show on cpanel. Go to your domain registrar website (like godaddy.com) and check your domains list for the expiry date.

i can keep track my domains.
(just like what you said, i'll just go to godaddy.com)

my problem is in my webhost,. I didn't receive any kind of notifications, and i don't know when will my webhost expire. haha.
