It is a form of web hosting, where you (the owner) have the capacity to use your prearranged hard drive space and bandwidth to host websites on behalf of third parties. As a reseller you buy the host's facilities and then you sell them to other customers making a neat profit of your own. A certain part of the hard drive and bandwidth is billed to the reseller account. So the reseller may lease a dedicated server from a hosting company or resell collective hosting services. If you just resell those services, then you need not rent a server from the company.

A reseller is responsible for interfacing with his/her own customer base, but any hardware, software and connectivity problems are typically forwarded to the server provider from whom the reseller plan was purchased. Being a profitable reseller firm usually involves extensive advertising to get customers.

If you don't rent web-hosting space then you will only have rights to the name - but no actual web space to put anything in.

Reseller hosting there is a third person a an agent for the hosting company,he just give the server space in the somebody's server,he is the mediator for the hosting company.
