Default What makes the Hyper-V so good

To answer this there is more ways than one; I will try through other advantages of the Hyper-V:

* Multiprocessor support which means that the Hyper-V supports multiple CPU’s depending on the system you are using. With the past information, the Windows Server 2008 has the best performance here, with the support of 4 virtual processors. As for Windows Vista and Server 2003 it is 1 or 2, but for others it is mostly one, except I don’t have the information concerning Windows 7 behavior.

* Huge amount of memory this is already known in the IT world, due to the implementation of the x64 architecture which has the support for that amount it is currently unreachable.

* Network load balancing (NLB) support. It's possible to load balance across virtual machines running on different physical servers using Microsoft's Windows NLB service.

* Quick Migration certainly a feature that probably Microsoft itself has benefited the most when they were migrating to Hyper-V, because of its extremely low downtime.

* Host characteristics: 16 logical processors, 2TB memory, SAS/SATA/discs and FibreChannel support.

* Guest characteristics: 32-bit (x86) and 64-bit (x64) child partitions, 64Gb memory support within VMs, 4 core SMP VMs, max 4 NIC’s.
